Rather than faith or works, you may be inclined to choose not applicable if you determine a passage is not relevant to salvation or perhaps if you do not wish to count the testimony of anyone except Jesus. In addition to the text, also consider the passage title before selecting an answer. You may conclude different focus areas were central to your answer compared to those listed for each question. Consider referencing the STC Guide at the back of the Salvation: What Did Jesus Say? if you are tempted to frequently choose “Not Applicable” – especially when it comes to Jesus’ parables. The time to complete each segment will vary, but allot around 30 minutes on average.
